WE-DEV Studio is an online website builder made by WE-DEV, a web agency in London. You choose a template and change the words, photos and colours yourself on a computer. When you order, our team checks the site, connects the contact form, sets up the web address and hosting, and puts it online for you.

No. You click a piece of text and type, click a photo to change it, and drag sections up and down. There is no code and nothing to install. If you get stuck, call us and we will help you finish.

You can look at the templates on a phone, but building is done on a laptop or desktop computer, where there is room to see what you are doing. Your site will work on phones: Studio shows you how it looks on a phone and a tablet while you build.

No. You can build as much as you like for free and without a card. You pay only when you press Finish and order, and you see the full price before you do.

We check your site on phones and computers, connect the contact form so messages reach you, set up your web address and hosting, and put it online. Because you have already built it, this is quicker than a site we design from scratch: within 5 working days for a site of up to five pages, 7 for up to ten, and 10 if it takes online bookings, counted from the day we have everything we need from you. We email you when it is live.

Yes. You can pay half when you order and the other half when the site is ready to go online, or pay it all at once. Both amounts are shown, VAT included, before you reach the checkout.

Yes. Instead of buying the website, you can pay a monthly fee that includes hosting and the web address, plus a one-off set-up fee when you order. The plan runs for at least 12 months, is paid by card, and the site is hosted by us for as long as the plan runs. The monthly prices are in the Price section: switch it to "By the month".

Yes. Either send us the change and we make it, or choose the admin panel when you order and change text and photos yourself. Sites of six to ten pages include the admin panel.

Online bookings: yes. Add the Online booking section in Studio. We set up the booking system for you; a site with bookings has its own price, shown before you pay. For an online shop, ask us to call you: we will give you a fixed price for a site built by our team.

You do, when you pay for it in one payment or two halves: once it is paid for, the design, the words and the photos you added are yours, and the web address is registered in your name. On the monthly plan the website is hosted by us for as long as the plan runs and is not handed over as files; your words, photos and web address are still yours.

Building is free. You pay when you order: a site of up to five pages is one price, a site of six to ten pages costs more and includes an admin panel, and a site that takes online bookings has its own price. Because you do the design yourself, each costs less than the same site built by us. Hosting and a web address are optional extras if you do not already have them. Many website builders leave every step to you and are paid for by subscription. In Studio you do the creative part, and a real team does the technical part: we test the site on phones and computers, connect the forms, set up the web address and hosting, and put it online. You can pay for the website once, in one payment or two halves, and then it is yours; or you can pay by the month.

Yes. If you already own a web address we connect it to your new site. If you do not, we register a .co.uk in your name when you order, and help you choose it.

It is built to. Every page has its own title and description that you can edit, the pages load quickly, they work on phones, and we add the business details search engines read. Appearing for a search also depends on your content, your competitors and time, so nobody can honestly promise a position. If you want help with that, ask us about SEO.
