Frequently asked questions

I have never had a website. Can I still use this?

Yes. Choose “No, this is all new to me” at the first question. We then ask about your business in everyday words, explain each term as it comes up, and choose the technical parts for you. You can always answer “I am not sure”.

What does a new business need online?

Usually a website, a web address (domain), somewhere for the site to live (hosting), an email address at your own domain, a logo and a Google Business Profile so you appear on Google Maps. The planner checks which of these you already have and prices only what is missing.

How is the price worked out?

From your answers. The planner picks the smallest website package that covers what you described, then adds only the launch services you still need. Every line shows its own price and the reason it is there, and you can switch any optional line off before you pay.

Can I pay in two parts?

Yes. You can pay 50 % when you order and the other 50 % when the site is ready, just before it goes live, or pay it all at the start. Both amounts are shown, VAT included, before you reach the checkout.

What if I answered “I am not sure”?

That item is included in the plan so nothing is missed, and it is marked as such. We check with you before work starts: if you turn out to have it already, it comes off the price.

What if I need an online shop or something bigger?

The planner gives you a starting price and asks you to pick a time for a call. A developer rings you with your answers in front of them, and you get a fixed price in writing within one working day. You do not pay anything from the form.

What do I pay after the first year?

Only the things that renew: the web address and the hosting, if you take them from us. The yearly price is shown in your plan. The website, logo and everything else are paid once and belong to you.

What if I change my mind?

If you buy as a consumer you can cancel within 14 days of ordering. Before work starts you get a full refund; after that you pay only for the work done. The full details are on our refunds page.
